DIGITAL HEARTS Certified as Platinum Partner in the ISTQB Partner Program With Large Number of Employees Qualified as Software Test Engineers

 DIGITAL HEARTS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “DIGITAL HEARTS”), that provides system testing services, announced today that it has been certified as one of three Platinum Partners in Japan (as of November 30, 2018) in the Partner Program of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (hereinafter referred to as “ISTQB”), an international qualification institute for software testing, in November 2018.

 Considering the current years as our second startup period, the Group is exploring the further growth of our core debugging business for detecting bugs and failures included in game software, and is also making strong efforts to accelerate the expansion of the system testing business in the growing market by utilizing our rich experience in the debugging business.

 Above all, the most important task for the expansion of these businesses is to secure and develop expert engineers who design and manage operations of system tests. We have focused on recruiting to employ specialists from related industries and improved the internal training system with business partner’s well-developed programs. In April 2018, as part of our training system, the Group made a program for supporting the acquisition of software testing engineer qualifications. It is for about 8,000 registered testers including game-loving people and more than 200 of these testers passed the qualification test held in August 2018, which are carried out by the Japan Software Testing Qualifications Board (hereinafter referred to as “JSTQB”), a member institute of ISTQB in Japan. Accordingly, the number of qualifiers for the JSTQB test of our Group (the total number including existing qualifiers) is as high as eight for the Advanced level and 325 for the Foundation level as of the end of October 2018. In terms of the number of qualifiers, the Group has become one of the industry leading companies.

 As a result, DIGITAL HEARTS has been certified as a Platinum Partner, and also ANET Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “ANET”), its group company, has been certified as a Gold Partner in the ISTQB Partner Program. Our Group, including these core companies like DIGITAL HEARTS as a Platinum Partner and ANET as a Gold Partner, will continue to develop the system testing business by investing in human capital and technology.  ISTQB is an international qualification institution for software tests, and it has been established to develop software test engineers by providing qualifications for software test professionals. JSTQB is an organization for the qualifications of software test engineers in Japan and is authorized as a member organization of ISTQB. And the qualifications of software test engineers authorized by the JSTQB are also effective in foreign countries as well.
